Comparison
A storEDGE and Sitelink alternative for independent operators
storEDGE (now Storable Edge) and Sitelink are Storable's management platforms, and they cover a lot of ground. UnitsHQ is smaller and simpler, built for independent operators who want billing, rent collection and QuickBooks handled without a long setup, at a price you can see before you talk to anyone.
Compare the workflows you'll use
| What to compare | UnitsHQ | storEDGE and Sitelink (Storable) |
|---|---|---|
| Accounting | Two-way QuickBooks Online sync for customers, invoices, payments and credit memos. Payments recorded in QuickBooks come back to the invoice. Xero is supported too. | Sitelink says it connects with accounting programs including QuickBooks, Great Plains, PeachTree, MRI, MAS 90 and Yardi. |
| Rent collection | ACH at 0.8% capped at $5, cards at 2.9% + 30Β’. Rates are published and tenants are never surcharged. | Storable offers its own payment processing. Ask for the ACH and card rates for your volume. |
| Gate and access | No direct gate integration. Gate codes and access instructions go out in the move-in email. | Storable lists gates and access as a category in its integration marketplace. |
| Liens and auctions | Not built in. UnitsHQ tracks balances, sends reminders and records active military duty at move-in. | Storable lists auction and lien partners in its integration marketplace. |
| Pricing | $99/month for up to 150 units, $489/month up to 999. Published, with a 14-day trial. | Not published on Storable's website. Ask for a quote for your unit count. |

Which one fits
If you run a gated facility and want gate control and lien sales connected to one system, Storable covers more of that today, and you should weigh it seriously.
If you're an owner-operator whose real pain is invoicing, chasing rent and keeping QuickBooks up to date, UnitsHQ does that with less to learn, and you can see the price before you talk to anyone.
Bring these questions to both demos
- Show a payment recorded in QuickBooks. Does the tenant's balance update by itself?
- What does ACH cost per payment, and who pays the fee, me or the tenant?
- What will I pay each month for my unit count, including payments and add-ons?
- Who moves my tenants and balances over, and how long does it take?
